This was an awesome class…
…that brought a bunch of kids together where we forged friendships, learned new skills, grew in confidence (and got extra credit too!) I wrote this in high school – can you feel how much fun we had??
Many schools offer outdoor education classes, and it’s a great opportunity for shy kids to make new friends, for those who haven’t experienced many outdoor activities to be introduced to new skills in a safe environment, and for the nature-enthused, it provides even more experiences to enjoy.
- Fire building
- Survival skills
- Canoeing and paddling skills
- Water rescue
- Camp trips
- Races and adventures
- Snow camping and cold survival
- The list goes on!
