This is Edison, “our” adopted elephant that we are tracking by GPS. Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. Does your child love elephants? Just scan the QR code, and that’s it!
You can now watch your elephant travels. You can zoom in on the map to see more details.

Elephant Migration Project Idea for kids
MAKE YOUR OWN MAP
- As you receive updates about your elephant, pin the location (or use dry-erase markers) on a fun map. You can learn about geography and migration and follow your new friend’s travels. Or make your own map!
- There’s also this type of large peel-and-stick animal wall map for a different map option, which I want.
- You could track them using small removable stickers like these inexpensive ones. Or use stickie-notes and write the date they were spotted.
